Greetings.
All right, so now that the end-of-summer rush is closed, we can resume normal operations. There was another news post in between this and the last one posted here...visible on
the forums and now in
the archives. As FTP is cooperating, the next news follows here.
Ran across an interesting
bit of info last week...turns out homebrew applications on the Wii (also known as "hacking" or "modding") can be done without modifying the hardware at all. There's really quite a bit you can do, from running special applications, enabling normal DVD playback...among others. So I spent some time performing the necessary operations, and it works wonderfully well, without the risk of terminally breaking my console. Best of most worlds, really.
This past week was supposed to have been the first for the gallery component's basic development cycle, but due to other projects (i.e., above) and the impending start of classes, I had to put it off. I am hoping the workload will even out soon, so that the schedule can be brought back on task again.
Speaking of impending events, INFINITY, a radio show put on by myself and a good college buddy, will be starting up again soon. The time slot will be the same - Fridays, 7 PM until whenever (CST/CDT) - further details to be shared when they are known. Previous shows can be heard on the podcast to your right.
More of value to be reported on next week.
Mr. Bond, signing off.
