02 / 11 / 2009 -- Mark II
Greetings.

Another Halloween, come and gone. Didn't do the whole costume thing, but I did see some...subpar scary movies. Then again, all horror films are funny to me, anyways. All things considered, then, a pretty typical day of lost souls.

Two weeks left to go for Phase V. Most of the major browsing features are coming together nicely, and since that is Phase V's goal, I am happy. Admittedly, probably 80% of the development work will go towards behind-the-scenes features that John Q. Public will not see, or will see and not realize. The transparency will be good, though, so long as the system does its job.

Phase VI will be the intermediate development phase - that is, implementing features to add and manage content, plus maybe scrape on some admin features. Since that will be the first full Phase to use the development reorganization and the weekly goal time, a total of 200 hours of development time will be the goal. If you think about it, at standard full time, one could knock that out in five weeks...which is still quite a lot of time regardless.

Mission 5 recording has been posted. Oddly enough, even with just me at the helm - plus a guest host - the show still ran to the full time plus a little extra. Ah, well...it's a lot of fun, and I definitely recommend trying the whole radio host thing to everyone should the opportunity arise. Who knows, after my stint with WSNC is done, I may try to continue the series...somehow. Not live, at any rate, but...yeah, we'll see.

The full moon tonight is beautiful...I just wish the weather wasn't so cold.

Mr. Bond, signing off.
