Wow! I am enthralled by Project Spark. I have recently been able to use one of the new Xboxes... I haven't played any of the regular games, and I have just used Project Spark.

Project Spark is a game creation game. You can create worlds, enemies, AI, and much much more! I believe it is currently in beta and doesn't cost anything to own or play unless you want extra content. 

At first, I wasn't quite sure what the draw was. My thoughts (sarcastically) were, "You can create terrain. Awesome..." Then something truely wonderful happened... THIS GAME ALLOWS ME TO MAKE THE NPC'S DO SOMETHING!!!! Everything in this world has a brain. You can give AI to everything. There are pre-populated brains. You can create your own brains. You can even save your brains! The interface for brain creation is awesome too. It's very much like Scratch and other drag and drop languages. It is basic event programming without having to really know a programming language. It's all in english. Take a look:

People have created some pretty interesting things such as Star Wars games from this. I know this is a relatively short post, but I'm still exploring this some when I find time. I really just wanted to share this awesome tool with the world. I'm a huge fan of abstracting the code where we can, and allowing as many people as possible to make games and get involved in the process. Huge kudos to Project Spark!
